About

Southern Illinois Association for the Education of Young Children is a membership organization serving Alexander, Franklin, Hardin, Jackson, Johnson, Massac, Perry, Pope, Pulaski, Saline, Union, and Williamson, counties in the state of Illinois. We are a local affiliate of Illinois AEYC and since 1980, SIAEYC’s members have served the surrounding community and acted on behalf of the needs and rights of all young children.

The vision of the Southern Illinois Association for the Education of Young Children is for every child in Southern Illinois to have access to the highest quality of care and education.

SIAEYC Mission

The mission of Southern Illinois Association for the Education of Young Children is to facilitate the optimal development of young children. We advocate for the rights, needs and well-being of young children. We promote professional development in educators. We educate, support, and collaborate with individuals and organizations working in direct and indirect service to young children.
